As the saying goes, it really is often the old ones that are deemed the best. And nobody can argue with that when you take a look at this stunning Morris Cowley Ice Cream Van.
This is one of the finest restoration projects ever undertaken by Whitby Morrison and was commissioned by John Bonar of Piccadilly Whip London to compliment his impressive fleet.
The Cowley originates from 1930 and has retained much of its original style. The body itself is actually older than the vehicle having originally been part of a horse drawn cart – more than a century ago!
A complete overhaul of the engine was undertaken to enable the van to be driven comfortably. The interior was completed with the latest Carpigiani Rapida II soft ice cream machine and there’s even space for a chiller too.
Be sure to keep an eye out for this Cowley – it’s going to be a real stand out attraction everywhere it goes!
